In overview, the first half was all right while the second half blew massive ass when my dad lost his job in  mid July (currently has a P/T as of September after dicking around for a month and a half).

Anyhow, I hope 2010 is better than this year..but the way I will spend my afternoon today is with other furries at Zack's place overnight.

See all of you next year!

RIP Bubbles

Yes, another cat, namely Bubbles of mine passed away this month and it was today. Cause of death is unknown but for some reasons, he was losing weight at an alarming rate over the past two weeks which was strange because he was known as the fat cat in the house, nicknamed Fatfat/Fat-fat.

With him gone, the last two in this house is the 15 year old crippled Jenny and the socially retarded Callie.

Astroturf describes fake grassroots groups that are created and funded by corporations, political parties or industry trade associations to advance a political agenda.

Astroturf groups fighting media reform manufacture the impression of public opposition to issues like Net Neutrality to sway policy makers and the media. What these groups won't tell you is that they're bought and paid for by the phone and cable industry.

Fake groups such as Hands Off the Internet, American Consumer Institute, FreedomWorks, Americans for Prosperity, Heartland Institute, Net Competition, Citizens for a Digital Future and Institute for Policy Innovation are all such groups that work with the telcos and cablecos so they can push THEIR agenda on government officials so they get what THEY want, not US.

Say NO to phony grassroots organizations!

Bad RAM stick?

After two weeks of having the desktop computer, I've been having crashiness regarding the new desktop computer lately, mostly STOP errors like PFN_LIST_CORRUPT, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, IRQ_NOT_EQUAL_TO and even BIOS checksum and RAM r/w test failures on boot. I suspect one of the sticks has faulty memory, so I removed the second stick and seemed to have gotten more stable since..but this increases FO3 loading time. (despite with the second stick, it BSODed on me twice before removal)

I really hope it was the stick I removed and put in a safe spot since I value stability, as I also brought the computer back to non-overclocking defaults (FSB was 300mhz instead of 200mhz..a 600Mhz CPU speed drop too)

Fallout 3

I might be spending an unusually long time with  Fallout 3 since I purchased it 2 months prior to getting this computer so this means less time with music and other activities (IRC, instant messaging, etc) the way I did with the other game that got me hooked (Oblivion, which I stopped playing in 2008 after 2 years...over 1600 hours!)

Ex-employee of my father is NOT pressing charges.

Seems mom has broke down and crying because of something dad did financially (I believe) and may have to do with the house so I am scared on what might happen now.

Those who do know me should get in contact with me as soon as possible. People I know personally should contact me via phone if they want to, especially LI_Furs members that know my cell number.

If I'm not heard from or seen in several weeks after the first week of August, something did happen.

Edit: Father lost job, presumably from doing something illegal (again, like his last two jobs). I'm guessing petty theft..

He should know better than the first time..

Edit #2: In worst case scenario if it does, I might not get back online for several weeks.

Edit #3: Shit might be as early as next week...who knows ;_;

Edit #4: There's a chance he might be reinstated at his old job....that, being under arrest or having to look for another job.

Soldiers entered the presidential palace in the capital, Tegucigalpa, and disarmed the presidential guard early Sunday, military officials said. Mr. Zelaya’s private secretary, Eduardo Enrique Reina, confirmed the arrest.

Mr. Zelaya flew into exile in Costa Rica, telling a local television station, “They are creating a monster they will not be able to contain.”

Political tensions have increased in recent weeks, as Mr. Zelaya pressed ahead with plans for a nonbinding referendum that opponents said would open the way for him to rewrite the constitution to run for re-election despite a one-term limit.

Last week, the Supreme Court and Congress both declared the referendum unconstitutional. But on Thursday, the president led a group of protesters to an air force installation and seized the ballots, which the prosecutor’s office and the electoral tribunal had ordered confiscated.

After the armed forces commander, Romeo Vazquez, said that the military would not participate in the referendum, Mr. Zelaya fired him. But the Supreme Court declared the firing illegal.

President Obama said Sunday that he was deeply concerned by the reports from Honduras about the detention and expulsion of the president.

“I call on all political and social actors in Honduras to respect democratic norms, the rule of law and the tenets of the Inter-American Democratic charter,” Mr. Obama said in a statement. “Any existing tensions and disputes must be resolved peacefully through dialogue free from any outside interference.”

Note the bolded section....now why would he want to support this wacko who is trying to pull a Chavez? We don't need more people trying to be like Chavez and their president-for-life mentality. You should know better, Barry.. (see Black Panthers intimidating voters in Philly last November)
